ASI (Associated Students, Incorporated)
Associated Students, Inc. (A.S.I.) is governed by a student Board of Directors. The A.S.I. Board of Directors and professional staff manage the day-to-day operations of the corporation providing Cal State L.A. students, faculty, and staff dynamic programs and services. The purpose of Associated Students, Inc. is to: provide and promote opportunities for student participation in campus governance. provide an official voice through which student opinion may be expressed. provide an opportunity for students to gain experience and training in responsible civic participation and community leadership. advocate for the rights and interests of students. support the educational, social, physical and cultural well-being of the university community. A.S.I. also provides essential services to students, such as locker rentals, funding for clubs and organizations, movie tickets, health care plans, scholarship opportunities, book vouchers and more. Union Link
The Union Link is one of five Open Access Labs (OALs) spread out on campus. These labs are made available to assist CSULA students to accomplish their academic goal for instruction and research, students must have a current student ID and a Network Information Services (NIS) account. Though all of the OALs provides identical services to the campus community, they offer slightly different equipments, hardware and software depending on various needs in each geographical area on campus.
