Xtreme Fitness Center
Located in the Basement Floor of U-SU, the Xtreme Fitness Center invites you to participate in fitness and wellness activities in its facilities. The Center is furnished with state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Our Center is designed to give you all you need to achieve your personal fitness goals. We offer cutting-edge health and fitness programs including personal training and a wide array of group exercise classes. The Center is free of charge to CSULA students. The faculty, staff, and administrators pay a nominal fee to use the facility. Our mission is to promote health and wellness to the CSULA community and enhance the student experience in collaboration with the Kinesiology Department.
Center Guidelines:
- Current fitness Center ID required for entry.
- Possession of a towel is required at all times (spare shirts, bandanas, or paper towels are not acceptable).
- Work out attire required (the following types of clothing are not permitted: denim, cargo shorts/pants, dress shoes, open toe shoes, sandals etc)
- Bring your own lock. Bags must be stored in locker rooms or outside the Fitness Center. Lockers are for use only while occupant is present at the Fitness Center (locks remaining at the end of business day will be cut and belongings removed). Guests are discouraged from bringing any property of value to the Fitness Center; the Fitness Center assumes no liability for items that are lost, stolen, borrowed or broken while being stored on the premises.
Equipment List:
- Cardio Equipment Treadmills, Elliptical Trainers, Upright Bikes, Recumbent Bikes, Spinning Bikes, Stair Climbers and Arm Cycle.
- Resistance Training Life Fitness Adjustable Weight Machines, Hammer Strength Loadable Machines, Life Fitness Multi-jungle and Life Fitness Body Weight Equipment.
- Other Free Weights, Stretch Cage, Stretch Area.

Yoga, Pilates, Aerobics, Spinning, Kick Boxing, Self-Defense, Martial Arts, Wrestling, Capoeira, Boot Camp, Latin Dance Salsa, Merengue, Zumba, Jazz, Hip Hop
Trainers:
Our Floor Supervisors are experience to give free personal training advice upon request. Scheduled one-on one or small group training sessions (personal training) are subject to availability of the Floor Supervisor or the facilities and are free of charge.
